A much anticipated movie for the Death Note fans. But being influenced by the US (distributed by Warner Bros.) made this movie a disgrace to the Death Note franchise and an insult to L fans. Bio chemical weapon controlled by terrorists is a major give away of an American influence. A Japanese FBI add icing to the top of the American destruction of a very beautiful franchise. This movie is really far away from the elements that made Death Note famous. Once again, thanks America for ruining a supposed to be wonderful franchise.

Are team-ups the current trend in the movie industry now? George Lucas and Steven Spielberg produced a movie packed with action, adventure and eye candy graphics! Harrison Ford returned to play the role of Dr. Jones one more time. The rendering of the movie itself looks like a classic film and the special effects are top notch. The fight scene on top of the 2 cars is unforgettable. What do you expect on a team up like that

Jet Li and Jacky Chan fighting on the big screen is enough to make you watch this film. The story is kinda a cliche for a Chinese movie, but the hell with the story! The kung-fu fighting scenes is the big attraction here. Add up some Li Bing Bing beauty with new cutie Liu Yifei and everything is complete.

The title implies on what part of the Final Fantasy timeline this game falls under. Every question on all Final Fantasy 7 iterations were answered on this game. Yes, Before Crisis, Dirge of Cerberus, Final Fantasy 7 itself, and even the movie Advent Children were highlighted on this game. This game is a must-have for all FF7 fans and finishing the game is really worth the effort.

Ii was aired yesterday at 9pm and the subs haven't been released yet. So I ask my Japanese friend Yuki to translate it for me. This episode quenched my thirst for Proposal. It's been quite a while since i last saw Episode 11 (June 25 2007) and I've been missing this jdorama for a while.

Kang Jae-kyung (Bin Hyeon) is the heir to the multi million wealth of his grandpa. But he can only have it if he graduates from the school from his hometown. He met Choi Eun-hwan (Yeon-hee Lee) who has a heart condition and you pretty much get the picture. They say it reminisce the movie "A Walk to Remember" but for me, it is a completely different movie. Why the hell am I watching some romantic movies when I'm heart-broken and Valentine's around the corner? Maybe just to know where and how I've committed my mistakes and learn from it. Love can make tou happy and can change you completely, but it can also tear you apart. Just remember two things, You can't buy love (you can learn it on this movie) and Sometimes love just ain't enough (based from a personal experience)

Anyway, The boy met a positive-thinking girl who supposedly cursed him that unhappy things will come his way. This is a more serious drama and no fan service whatsoever. Reminds me of Boys Be.

They are my noble Masters

Actually this is not a complete review of the series but a glimpse of what are the things to come. I've watched the first 2 episodes (2 hour special) and OTH still gives that pinch in your heart. The story continues four year later as our characters pursued their dreams and career. Well not every one lived happily ever after as the cast encountered the harsh reality of life. More like what I've felt after graduation. There were new addition to the cast specially that adorable son of Hailey and Nathan. Jokes appear from time to time and that quotes once again capture our hearts. This is One Tree Hill at its mature stage but the elements you loved from Season 1-4 are still there. Enjoy the rest of the season

Product Type: Cell-phones
Manufacturer:  Nokia / Motorola / Sony Ericsson
Three cellphones pitted against each other to know who among them is the best snapper on their category. Just a reminder guys, these are not the "cream of the crop" line, but the entry level line of models. No Carl Zeiss nor Cybershot here on this review. Just wanted to compare these three fine cellphones against each other and nothing else. Now let's begin:

Nokia 6280

Nokia is the dominant brand here in the Philippines and their 2 megapixel camphone is no pushover. The orientation of 6280's camera is similar to a digital camera. You hold the phone horizontally, press the capture button and viola! Instant shots!. You can choose from high, normal or basic image quality. It has a night mode feature, zoom up to 10x (interpolated),can manipulate the white balance and add some effects. Amongst the three, 6280's flash is the best, mimicking the real flash of a digicam. You can store the pictures on a memory (6280 can support up to 2gb of miniSD card)

Pros: Point-and-shoot interface

Cons: Very slow rasterization

Motorola RAZR V3x

Motorola struck gold with their RAZR series and V3x is not an exception. V3x main asset is its very fast startup time and rasterization of pictures, best when you're about to capture that best moment. You won't miss a thing! Also, great for discreetly capturing pictures of beautiful women (boso shots anyone?). Has a 4x digital zoom and you can change the lighting condition and exposures. A light that acts as a flash and you can store pictures in a mircoSD card up to 1gb.

Pros: Fast camera operation

Cons: Weak on poor lighting conditions

Sony Ericsson K750i

The oldest among the three, K750i can prove that quality can stand the test of time. The camera phone which was the predecessor of K800i, Sony Ericsson's Cybershot phone, packs some solid features. K750i's main advantage is its autofocus feature. SE's K line of models main weapon is their camera and K750i is one good example. Like the 6280, you use K750i like a real digital camera, horizontal and all. It's resolution is like a .2 higher than the other 2 (1632x1224).Packs a lot of features like burst mode, panorama mode, frames mode, macro mode, night mode and white balance...Just like a real digital camera. You can save pictures on a memory stick pro duo that supports up to 4gb!!

Pros: Digital camera features

Cons: Autofocus sometimes ruin the shot

Overall: The Sony Ericsson K750i is the winner in terms of image quality and functionality.

History meets fantasy, Jeanne D'Arc or better known as Joan of Arc, the savior of France and a saint to the Catholics. A strategy turn-base RPG that follows the adventure of the "La Pucelle" that was commanded by voices which she claimed came from God himself. The battle system is great and the effects and the sound is superb. Thrown in some Anime clips between the story and a very very unusual twist that made gamers scratch their heads in disbelief.

If you want action, this movie is right up your alley. Action from the start till the end. Blood spurting, guns blazing, total carnage. Heck the fight between Mr. Smith and Mr. Hertz reminded me of Yosemite Sam and Bugs Bunny (carrot and all). This is one cool action flick I might say

Think of Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy and .hack, mix it and you'll have Brave Story: New Traveler. Pardon for comparing this game to these 3 top ranking games but this is the reason I like this game. A boy from another world using a sword that upgrades every now and then sounds like Kingdom Hearts to me. The multi racial concept (kitkin, waterkin, err goatkin?) and cinematic cut scenes sounds Final Fantasy to me, and finally the cross between the Anime / Novel and the Video Game is oh so .hack to me. You see, this makes this game a solid RPG. You get to collect tons of stuff and "Dark Arms" also known as ultimate weapons, You solve sub quests and battle birdbrawls using your captured goalfinch. There are lots and lots of things to do here and the battle system although menu driven is full of action. The only downside of this game is that random battles occur frequently and oddly enough, you cannot save on the world map. but overall this is one solid RPG

I've finished reading this book back to the day after I bought it (see photo gallery) But what's with the late review? Let's just say that the effect of the novel hasn't been removed from my system yet (hence the layout of my multiply)Anyway, Happy Pottep err.. Harry Potter fans all over the world waited for this book. It's like they've been waiting for their whole life into reading the conclusion to the story of the boy who lived. Another reason for not writing my own review yet is I wanted to hear the opinion of my fellow muggles. The opinions as always were separated into two groups, the one who likes the epilogue and one who doesn't. On my own point of view, the epilogue turned into a fan's greatest dream. It's like ever wish on the HP forums were granted and the conclusion is like "they all lived happily ever after" sorta thing. But overall Jo did a pretty good job on the series, from the Sorcerer's Stone to the Deathly Hallows. A great piece of literature indeed that would be enjoyed by our generation and more generations to come. There's one question though that still lurked on the HP forums. the final line stated that All was well which gave the fans an idea for a book 8..oh well..for me it's the end

Simply put, It's a modern day story of Noah's Ark, Genesis 6:14 "Make for yourself an ark of gopher wood; you shall make the ark with rooms, and shall cover it inside and out with pitch." I really like the comedy here, wholesome and witty. Loads and loads of animal exposure and Godly humor. Steve really did a good job as Noah..err I mean Evan and Morgan Freeman is great at playing God. If you really like Bruce Almighty, you'll definitely like this one too.

If you are a fan of the "Tales of" series, this one's a keep. You can choose between a male or a female "descender" and interact with "Tales of" character. One of my favorite is Stahn, I remember him as the lead character of Tales of Destiny and that brings back memories of the Playstation days The game is basically a dungeon crawler / grinding type of RPG with button pressing to execute actions or special moves / spells, which is, the trademark of the series. The voice acting is great and the bg music really makes you feel the game. Spend lots of hours grinding or mastering techniques, collect armor sets or just cook to your heart's delight. Yes, you can cook, forge, refine, create stuff that can help you finish quests or even save your arse during a fierce battle. The only chip on this gem is the repetitive quests that will suck all your gaming hours. Oh well, overall this one's a solid RPG

Based on Tolkien's fantasy story Lord of the Rings which spawned a hefty number of franchises which sold millions and Battle for Middle Earth 2 is not an exception. The gameplay reminds me of Command and Conquer Generals and Preatorians. Add them up and put some Tolkien fantasy and you'll have this game. I can say, the game is very addicting if you're into real time strategy. The campaign makes you choose between good and evil which I might say evil rocks. Heck most of your missions are destroying this and killing that. While the good side makes you defend this and escort that. Typical good and bad situations. The highlight of this game however is the War of the Ring mode. A turn based / RTS hybrid wherein you fight for the one ring that rules them all. Overall, graphics and sounds added the icing to this well crafted RTS.

The fifth installment to J.K Rowling's masterpiece..We had the best seats on SM cinema 2 and the view was awesome. The story is expectedly based on the book and I might say it was beautifully delivered. If you have read the book though you'll find out that some parts are missing, maybe lack of time or budget we may not know. The fight between the death eaters and the order is spectacular but the part where Sirius was killed by Bellatrix was not what I envisioned from the book, maybe the lack of drama and the fast pace of events rob that special moment. Overall, this is a great movie and is highly recommended to be watch on IMAX

As I watched this movie, I relived my childhood fantasies, robots transforming into cars and the idea of life beyond our world. Transformers pushed the special effects in movie to its limit.Heck, the transformation of each robot is enough for you to wet your pants, you can't spot the difference between the real car and the cg one. Robots fighting amids the crowd brought computer effects into a new level. You'll see lots and lots of eye candy here folks and I mean it.There is one thing that bothers me thought. It's Optimus Prime's mouth! WTF is that? They should have sticked to the original mouth of OP. But that small problem was easily compensated by the final battle between OP and Megatron...sweet! Oh yeah before I forgot, humans too where part of this movie, though they played minor roles *sigh*

Yamashita Tomohisa and Nagasawa Masami play a young man and woman who have been friends since elementary school. Yamashita's character, Iwase Ken, is obstinate and unskilled in love, but he fell long ago for the lively and cheerful woman, Yoshida Rei, played by Nagasawa. But Rei is about to get married to another man. While Ken and other friends from high-school attend the wedding ceremony, a fairy appears and sends Ken back in time, giving him a second chance to win the girl he loves.

I've been watching this jdorama for quite some time now and it just ended last Monday. The story, though fictional (it involves fairies),made me wonder. What have I done in my past that led to the end of a supposed to be beautiful relationship? As the story of Proposal Daisakusen unfolds, it me realize my mistakes and short comings as I tend to lose the woman I love. Not like in the series, I can no longer change what I've done in the past. But what can I do is to prepare for the future and as I experience the same situation again, I know what to do and maybe someday, get married with the woman I love.

Some Data about the drama:

MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!
The last installment of the trilogy. After the cliffhanging ending of Dead Man's Chest, this movie is a must see!. The action is great heck the final battle between Jack Sparrow (Captain!) and David Jones is awesome. Canons blasting everywhere, the detail of the splinters of wood makes your eyes melt. I personally love the "pirate" costume of Elizabeth, damn she's cute wearing that outfit! The comedy of Johnny Depp and the rest of the cast is the cream of the crop of this movie, what it and you'll find out what I'm blabbering here about. Overall, this movie is worth that IMAX ticket you've been saving upon.
